The Southwest Rainbow Alliance will be celebrating its 6th Annual Pride in the Park in Platteville’s City Park! Check back closer to the event to sign up for a volunteer shift!
Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 20th to support this amazing event. We need hands to help everyone enjoy a day of music, food, crafts, kids’ activities and entertainment.
Volunteers are needed for the following:
Before The Event
- Silent auction basket creation
- Organizing sale items
Day of
- Set-up
- Attendance tracking
- Family activities
- Bouncy obstacle course
- Event helpers
- Kids Corner helpers
- Cleaning during the event
- SWRA booth
- Silent auction
- Talent support
- Take-down
Platteville is located just an hour from Madison, WI, 20 minutes from Dubuque, IA, and 30 minutes from Galena, IL, so we anticipate a great crowd from all around the region.
Volunteer shifts will run for 2 hours, from the set-up crew in the morning, support crew during the day, and tear-down crew post-event. Even if you can’t make it for the entire two hours, any time you can offer is gratefully accepted.
