The Southwest Rainbow Alliance is celebrating its 4th Annual Pride in the Park in Platteville’s City Park!
Please join us on Saturday, June 15th to support this amazing event. We need hands to help everyone enjoy a day of music, food, crafts, kids’ activities and entertainment. We’ll need assistance in decorating, setting up the park venue, helping vendors set up and/or take-down, park clean-up, helping out with the kids’ corner, take-down, and other tasks as needed throughout the day.
Platteville is located just an hour from Madison, WI, 20 minutes from Dubuque, IA, and 30 minutes from Galena, IL, so we anticipate a great crowd from all around the region.
Volunteer shifts will run for 2 hours, from the set-up crew in the morning, support crew during the day, and tear-down crew post-event. Even if you can’t make it for the entire two hours, any time you can offer is gratefully accepted.
